Finance is often seen as boring and left to people wearing suits and ties, letting entrepreneurs with limited visibility into their numbers. Then entrepreneurs discover they are running out of cash and have to fire their staff and close their business. That’s no good. We don’t want that. You don’t want that.

So we will go over what financial reports are and how they are built. How to read them and what to do with it.

If we’re successful, at the end of the presentation your fear of looking at financials will have reduced and some might even start enjoying reading P&Ls and Balance Sheets.

About the speaker
Florian co-founded Flocations, a map based travel inspiration startup in 2012. Flocations was admitted in the first batch of JFDI.asia, Asia’s first startup accelerator, and raised seed funding of over $600,000 from SingTel Innov8 and TNF ventures. Flocations was acquired by Japanese Venture Republic in April 2015.
Florian now helps entrepreneurs to execute and grow their startups from Seed to Series B with his own venture We are CxO, through financial management, data and metrics intelligence and communications among teams.

When he’s not working with startups, VCs and the entrepreneurial eco system, you will find him cooking up schemes to add excitement to some underground dining scene at 0.1C precisions.
