Scrum – Agile Project and Software Development
September 14, 2016 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm UTC+8
Scrum is an agile way to manage a project, usually software development. Agile software development with Scrum is often perceived as a methodology; but rather than viewing Scrum as methodology, think of it as a framework for managing a process.
In this short workshop we’ll go through the basics of scrum, share experiences implementing scrum and we’ll do some self-organized team exercises. The workshop is intended for people who want to learn about scrum as well as scrum practitioners that have specific questions on how to improve.
Who is this for?
• Product owners.
• Scrum masters.
• Team leads.
• Project managers .
• Anybody in a leadership position in an IT company or department.
We’ll start the workshop with an exercise. In teams, we’ll create a ‘learning board’ that captures the questions of all participants. Hugo will then go through the basics of scrum: the scrum roles, ceremonies and artifacts. Then we’ll go through the learning board and address all the questions and challenges in a group discussion.
Come join us and invite your friends along too!
Looking forward to seeing you!
