Every November people all over the world take the NaNoWriMo challenge and write a short novel of 50,000 words in just 30 days. But how do you actually do it? Earlier this year Fiona wrote her own novel in a month, so if you have always wanted to write one but never quite got around to it, are considering taking the challenge this year, or would just like some tips on how to get over writer’s block, then come along.
About the speaker
Eighteen months ago Fiona Barrows was a bored and creatively blocked literary agent living in London. Then she quit her job to travel solo around Asia, following her curiosity and unlocking her creativity as she went. She is now a freelancer copy and content writer, with no plans to return to normal life anytime soon.
