Get financed: Talented startups wanted by the French Tech Ticket

What?! Live in France and get money?

Have you ever dreamt of living in France? Picture this: what if you could live in France with the Government financing the launching of your new startup? This is exactly the goal of the French Tech Ticket, a startup booster program from  La French tech, the french startup network. It is designed for entrepreneurs from all over the world who want to create their startup in France.

A successful and promising concept

The program was launched for the first time last year. Mentoring, €25k prize money, resident permit, free space in incubator were among the main ingredients that made the season 1 was a promising success. 722 startups applied and out of the broad diversity of projects (sports, biotech, smart city, agritech…) 23 startups were selected to integrate the program. Many countries were represented like Burkina Faso (Bifasor, African logistics hub), Russia (TimeJoy, productivity app), Israel (Tridom, 3D construction) or China (InFu Tea, quality tea bags).

Moving a step forward with French Tech Ticket season 2

This year La French Tech opens its program to 70 international startups. The initiative is supported by 16 Ambassadors from all over the world among whom Kat Bolognan from Philippines (Five by Five, CEO & cofounder), Gui Bulaty from Brazil (TravelCar, CEO & founder) and Eduardo Ronzano from Spain (Keldoc, CEO). They will be selected through a global competition and will join one of the 41 partner incubators in France for a 12-month program starting from January 2017.

When applying to the French Tech Ticket program you should select your 3 favorite incubators:

Step 1: What is your stage of development? (proof of concept, concept, business development).

Step 2: Where would you like to go? (Paris, Bordeaux, Lyon, Marseille, Rennes, Toulouse…).

Step 3: What expertise will you need from the incubator? (Web, Tourism, Robotics, Aerospace, Ocean Environment Observation…).
